MEGA LADIES - JULY 10 2010
Serious races started today with the Mega Ladies ! Very hight level this year with an olympic Gold Medal, 2 world champions and some of the best riders of the DH Marathon... but Anne Caroline CHAUSSON (Sunn) gave as usual her best to win with a long time ahead ! The lady world champion in 2009 in DH Emmeline RAGOT (Suspension center) has got the second place on the podium but the revelation of the week as she won last Tuesday the Avalanche Enduro in Vaujany, is Meggie BICHARD, who took the 3rd place! The Challengers has done a great race also even if the glacier was a bit soft. Mikel BERGARA is the winner. You can check all the results here

This morning took place the Bike Speed, speed record on the Pic Blanc. Top riders had been there to check how speed they can be for Sunday race ! ...... You can check the result here

Second competition of the Megavalanche week in Oz, the Avalanche Cup with a World Cup Level .... Cameron COLE (Maxxis - Rocky Mountain) had been the best today on that very demanding track.
Ladies class Sabrina JONNIER his teamate won the race.

Let's start the Megavalanche week ... the first event took place witht the Avalanche Enduro in Vaujany.
Nicolas LAU made the best time, really the best ! same for the lady Meggie BICHARD ! But it was only the seeding run. Tomorrow 8.30 am first start on Vaujany central place. Good luck to all riders, if you miss it this you can coma back next year!

MAXIAVALANCHE SAMOENS - JUNE 19 & 20 2010
Though the bad weather every riders or almost did both rounds. Florian GOLAY (Felt) never gave up and stayed very closed to Rémy ABSALON (Commencal) both rounds. Even the second one Rémy needed to pedal hard and they finished wheels to wheels. Finally the winner is Rémy. Second place goes for Florian and we are very happy as the podium is totally european with a British at the 3rd place Alex STOCK. Ladies class Claire HASSENFRATZ is winning, Stéphanye ETHOIN & Pauline PETIT finished 2nd & 3rd. Check all the results, clic here

MAXIAVALANCHE - VALLNORD JUNE 12 & 13 2010 Rémy ABSALON (Commencal) started the 2010 season wih a victory for the first stage of the Maxiavalanche Europe Cup. Second place goes for Simon ANDRE (Sunn) in a very good shape. Cédric GRACIA (Santa Cruz) 3rd place, good job for the DH rider !

This week end in Mandelieu - La Napoule (French Riviera) will take place the first MTB rendez vous of the season 2010 ! Grand'Descente on saturday starting from 2 pm, Grand'Ride on Monday a great ride for all levels and new this year a loop of 16k in the Esterel hill: Ride Relax. More than 1.500 riders will be with us with only 2 words NATURE and SPORT !

TRANSVESUBIENNE - NEWS March 2 After the news last Friday about the France - Africa Summit UCC searched solutions. We found 3 possibilities but before to tell you, we need to deal with land owners, public authority ... then we will officially post the news. Don't panic the date won't change ! A little more of suspence for a race out of standard.

We are just officialy informed that Nice will welcome on 30, 31 of May & 1 of June France - Africa Summit. We had been informed by the government services that anti-terrorism police and other traffic plans of the delegations between airport, palaces and Acropolis center will be situated on Transvesubienne finish area. The place will be high secured and no way to get in. As the result of it we inform all people involved with the Transvesubienne that the finish in Nice is not possible with that conditions.
A crisis meeting will be organised early next week and we will inform you about new date.
